Privacy, in plain words.

The app

• Your projects and games stay on your computer. Arcwright doesn't upload them unless you publish a game or pack to the store.
• Crash reports: when the app crashes, it asks before sending a report (the app version, your system and graphics card, and where it crashed). No project files and no personal details.
• Update checks send the app's version and platform, nothing else.
• Usage stats (from Beta 1): off unless you turn them on. If you do, the app sends a small anonymous ping every five minutes while it's open, so we can count how many people use Arcwright and which versions they run: a random install number (not linked to you), the app version, your system and which part of the app is open. No names, emails, files or project content. Turn them on or off any time: Privacy & Updates on the Mac, or Help › Share Anonymous Usage Stats on Windows and Linux.
• Feedback you send from the app or this site goes to the Arcwright team, with your email only if you add it.

AI

• With your own AI app or API key, your requests go from your computer to that provider under your own account. Arcwright doesn't see them.
• With Sparks, your requests pass through Arcwright to Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Nano Banana pictures) to be answered. Arcwright records what each request cost.
• Your API key stays in your computer's secure storage (the Keychain on Mac) and is only sent to Anthropic.

This website

• If you sign up for update emails, we keep your email address to send them. Every email has a way to stop them.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Arcwright never sees your card number.
