Sparks and Pro: the terms.

What Sparks are

• Sparks pay for the AI that is built into Arcwright (Claude and Nano Banana, run through Arcwright). One Spark buys about $0.01 of AI at Arcwright's price. Each request is charged for what it actually used, and the app shows the cost under every reply.
• Sparks are only for AI in Arcwright. They aren't money: you can't cash them out, move them to someone else, or spend them anywhere else.
• You don't need Sparks to use Arcwright. You can connect your own AI app (Claude Code, Codex or any MCP app) or your own API key for free.

Expiry

• Sparks you buy in a pack or bundle never expire.
• Pro's monthly Sparks are spent before your purchased Sparks. Any left at your next renewal expire, and the new month's Sparks replace them.

Refunds

• You can get a refund for unused Sparks within 14 days of buying them. Sparks you have already spent can't be refunded. If you used part of a pack, you get back the unused share.
• If a bundle is fully refunded, its unlocks (theme packs, templates, kits, badge) are removed.
• Pro: you can cancel any time in Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you aren't charged again.
• If you dispute a card payment, the Sparks from that payment are taken back and the account is paused until the dispute is settled.

Limits and safety

• A new account's first purchase can be up to $99.99. Bigger items unlock once that first purchase goes through.
• When Arcwright's AI capacity is full, Sparks spending pauses for a short time. Your Sparks stay safe and work again as soon as capacity opens up. You can keep building in the meantime by connecting your own AI app or key (free).
• Each account can spend up to a daily amount of Sparks (shown in the app). This protects you and the service.

The Forge on the website

• Models you make with the Forge are yours. Use them in any project, free or paid, in any engine.
• The Forge itself is Arcwright's. Don't copy, scrape, automate or take apart the Forge or the website's Forge service, and don't try to get around its daily limits or checks.
• Free models each day are limited, and the Forge may pause when it's busy. Signing in gives you more each day.

Pro and Founder prices

• Founder prices are for accounts made before December 31, 2026. They stay yours for as long as you keep that subscription. If you cancel and come back after the deadline, regular prices apply.
• Founder Studio Max has a limited number of places (10). When they are all taken, there is a waitlist.
• Pro perks (Founder badge, premium kits, templates and theme packs, beta updates, priority feedback, team seats, lower store fee) last while the subscription is active. A Founder badge or kit that came with a bundle stays.

Referrals and the launch bonus

• A new account can use a friend's code once, before its first purchase. When that first purchase goes through, you each get 300 Sparks. You can't use your own code or a code from the same computer or network. A person can earn at most 50 referral rewards a month. If the purchase is refunded, the reward is taken back.
• Launch bonus: during the launch window (October 17 to November 16, 2026), your first Sparks pack gets bonus Sparks, as shown in the app.

Tax

Prices are shown before tax. Stripe adds sales tax or VAT at checkout where it applies, and shows it before you pay.
